Episode Context

Episode 22 of 25 places this deep into the Alfheim Online arc's climax, directly following the emotional gut-punch of 'The Truth of Alfheim,' where critical revelations reshaped the stakes for Kirito and Leafa. 'Grand Quest' channels that newfound urgency into action, pushing the protagonists against the World Tree's most formidable barriers. It sets the stage for 'Bonds' in episode 23, where the relationships forged and tested throughout this arc face their ultimate reckoning heading into the season's final stretch.
