Quite an emotional episode because most of the time I was really annoyed by the characters, especially the two noblemen. I like how the episode portrayed everyone’s own sense of justice. Even in that world, there are still power trippers. 🥲

the palace in the academy grounds was STUNNING. the bully tension was thick. ronie's fear was animated super real. eugeo's restraint was tested hard. that punch? worth it. 👊

Episode Context

Coming directly after 'Swordsman's Pride' and Kirito's notable duel, episode 9 shifts the narrative lens to Eugeo's personal growth and the oppressive social dynamics within the academy. It serves as critical connective tissue, deepening the world's moral framework and the tensions with noble antagonists Humbert and Raios. This episode directly sets the stage for 'Taboo Index,' where the ethical boundaries explored here will be pushed to a breaking point.
