An episode with many action scenes. I honestly expected more from Kirito’s fight, like more clashing, sword techniques, and parrying between them. Although the animation was good, I just wanted more parrying and sword clashes. Liena is such a badass.

watching sortiliena finally get out of her own head was beautiful. that final thrust? smooth. kirito's proud grin in the back? pure teacher energy. 🤺

Episode Context

Positioned at the one-third mark of Alicization's 24-episode run, this episode capitalizes on the training groundwork laid in 'Swordcraft Academy' by putting Kirito's growth to a definitive test against the academy's strongest. It deepens the social dynamics and power structures within the institution, directly setting the stage for 'Nobleman's Responsibilities,' where the consequences of hierarchy and privilege take a darker turn.
