Just as I expected, I loved seeing the connection between Tsumugi and her late mom. I was a bit surprised near the end, but it was something I’d been wanting to know all this time. Worth the wait hehe.

Episode Context

Episode 9 continues a thread from the previous installment exploring Tsumugi's connection to her late mother's cooking, making this a pivotal emotional beat in the season's back half. As the ninth of twelve episodes, it represents the series deepening its core themes of family, loss, and healing right before the final stretch. The following episode pivots toward summer vacation and introduces fresh narrative elements, making this curry-focused chapter the emotional apex before the tone shifts.
