The tension during the festival was so high! The way the shadows move looks so creepy, and even the pacing here keeps me on edge. The animation was consistent even during the chaotic scenes. This is a solid episode that builds up the mystery about the shadows.

Now, they are doubting each other. Which, I understand. The festival scene, giving them a little breather, was nice, also Sou telling Shinpei that it's not his fault is making me smile. And that ending? It's so satisfying.

I'm sensing a timeline convergence when I remember the costumer in Bistro Kofune mentioned that Shinpei is looking for someone in ep1. The mystery deepens further upon the appearance of a certain someone at the end 😵‍💫
