This episode was devastating. I felt like all hope was gone for a moment. The animation of the shadows disintegrating felt a little bit rewarding but it is all for naught as the sudden silence made me feel the loss was really heavy.

Watching this episode felt frustrating, Shinpei is being spread thin with the choices and he isn't even given the time to decide properly. There are instances that Haine made an odd decision which is quite intriguing.

This episode was just so devastating. Everyone is giving everything they have, and it's still not enough. The line "You can't save both of them." I want to punch my monitor. And that final transfer and moment? Did not see that coming.
