I'm digging the heterochromia eyes of Shinpei. This episode got me hooked with all the mysteries it shown, there's quite a lot of foreshadowing and I'm quite curious about the "gift" Shinpei received. The art and animation are top notch especially the food which it can be mistaken for a food anime 😅

This episode sets the stage for a chilling mystery in the warm seaside. The sparkling sea is animated so beautifully, you can almost smell the salt air~ It handles the weight of grief nicely, giving the characters a real emotional drive. The dark twist at the end has me hooked!

Genuinely an unsettling start to the series wow. Even though it starts slow it still carries that feeling throughout. The pacing just feels so tight its crazy, even the animation looks so good. This ep left me with so many questions, 100% watch it tonight, trust me on this one

What a way to start the episode. A funeral, a murder, a creepy shadow, and the plot twist ending? That all happened in the first episode? This is giving thriller vibes. I like the animation and style of this anime.

This is well animated, the movements are fluid especially during the final minutes. The pacing starts slow but it's okay since it builds up the perfect tension for the climax. The sound design is also good as it compliments well making the atmosphere eerie.

Going into the anime without watching the trailer really made me think it was a coming-of-age set in the summer. I was stunned and pleasantly surprised when it wasn't. A great opener that leaves you wanting to unravel the mystery.

The first episode sets up its intrigue quick and dirty. Hints at a supernatural mystery early on give a very realistic grieving scene some real spice. The cliffhanger at the end will leave you wondering if everything was a dream, or was something very real behind it all?
