EPISODE REVIEWS

This one had a surprisingly dark feel, and I liked how tense it got. The mood worked really well, and the episode kept me interested without needing too much action. It had a nice balance of tension and story. Definitely one that stood out to me.

Another key character in the series was anticipated in that cliffhanger. The ep and plot were dragged along with this Ashura syndicate and the story was more on Dorai's case. Somehow, the plot was very similar to the Hongkong police movies I saw in my childhood that reminded me of Jet Li or Jackie Chan.

I don't really like the political or gang stuff at the moment. I prefer the pure hunt to find the next fighter. But I was pleasantly surprised by the ending because that pretty much made up for what I had in mind AND Sagat gets exactly what he deserves. See, you can definitely make friends in prison if you try hard enough (or fight with them). This is a pass in my books.
