A truly great ending. It's bittersweet and even brought me to tears, but it ultimately ends on a hopeful and uplifting note. It serves as a satisfying conclusion to the journey o the journey, and there is no loose ends either, for me anyway.

The final episode of this legendary sci-fi epic delivers one of the most emotionally overwhelming, beautifully poignant conclusions in anime history. As the Yamato makes its desperate, final sprint back to a dying Earth, the ticking clock that has driven the entire series reaches its absolute zero.

Great ending. It actually made me tear up a bit, lol. It was very intense and suspenseful, and Desler was a great villain who made me hate him so much.
