Star Blazers: The Quest for Iscandar Episode 17: Charge! Balanosaurus Special Attack Group!

Another episode centered around Gamilas' latest attempt to destroy the Yamato. While the plan itself isn't bad, I found the design of the giant creature they used to be rather boring. The other major development is Captain Okita's condition, which has me genuinely worried about him. The battle itself is enjoyable since the crew has to rely on their own skills. Overall, it's another solid episode.

The episode excels by shifting the battlefield away from conventional open-space dogfights into a terrifyingly creative environment dictated by extreme magnetic waves and gravitational pulling forces.

The new threat was interesting, but its design felt a bit lazy, and the ending was anticlimactic. I liked the suspense, though, and I was genuinely worried about the captain.
