I thought this was gonna be a fun date episode, but it felt more of like a date montage. The animation here is still lackluster and I can barely feel any tension in this episode. I can also feel that they are using Rei's femininity as an obstacle which added more to the feeling that this is intended as a reverse harem anime.

The tension during the investigation scene was handled perfectly and it makes me even more invested in the overall plot now.
