EPISODE REVIEWS
Solid episode that continues flawlessly from the previous cliffhanger. The city not resetting after the previous episode shows that the situation now is dire. The relationship between the Neon Genesis' students and Rikka's mom is nice to see, they have been hanging out in her shop for a while after all.
I'm impressed by this episode. I must say, I didn't expect this plot twist at all! I had my doubts for a moment but now I can say that this anime is giving us lore the whole time and now we can unify every piece of the puzzle and be prepared for the end.
Wow, Yuta’s condition is basically an allegory for the trinity. Yuta, Gridman, and the old computer all linked together forming a singular entity yet separate, with their own personalities. Akane has gone off to the deep end, hope she makes it back to the people who care about her. I feel for Utsumi he represents the every man struggling to grasp things far beyond his comprehension, yet despite all that still carries on. Gridknight, Gridman finally tag team in this slogfest of a Kaiju death battle, from rivals to to comrades, this episode had everything, and more!
