Episode Context

Episode 1 established the rules of this world, the emergence of the 'True Moon' and the monsters it unleashed, and Episode 2 is positioned to stress-test the characters within that framework, pushing Ryo and Izumi further into the supernatural conflict. As the midpoint of a compact four-episode run, it carries the burden of both developing character stakes and accelerating the tension toward the back half. What happens here likely defines the emotional and narrative weight that Episodes 3 and 4 will need to resolve.
