SPY x FAMILY Cour 2
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Imagine a household where a spy, an assassin, a telepath, and a psychic dog all live together, but and none of them know what the others really are. Spy x Family Part 2 picks up right where the first season left off, with Loid Forger still deep undercover trying to get close to a dangerous politician through his daughter Anya's school. This time around, the family gets a new member: Bond, a big fluffy dog who can see the future, which pairs hilariously with Anya's ability to read minds. The two of them together are pure chaos. This 13-episode run leans harder into the family dynamics that made the first part work so well. Yor gets more time in the spotlight with her assassin side, and there's a genuinely tense arc involving a terrorist plot that lets Wit Studio and CloverWorks flex their animation chops. But the heart of it is still watching these people who are faking a family slowly start to mean it, without any of them being able to say so. The tone walks a line between spy thriller action and the kind of warm comedy where a six-year-old's goofy facial expressions carry entire scenes. If you liked Hinamatsuri's mix of found family and absurd humor, or the secret-identity parenting angle of Buddy Daddies, this is in that wheelhouse. It's funny, it's sweet, and the action sequences genuinely deliver when they show up.

The best anime I've ever scene every character has it's own value in this anime completely wholesome anime anya is so funny 😂
I watched this two years I think ago but I've never been a hard-out fan of spy x family (no hate)
I love the nuance when Anya convinces Damian to meet his father after she notices Loid is somewhere close. It's really genius for her age. Also, the way Donovan talks to Loid...it feels like he knows something that Loid (or the entire WISE operation) doesn't. It gives me chills.
OMG, this episode is so great. Seeing how Yor realized that her thoughts are so baseless, Anya-Becky's friendship grows stronger, Martha's perspective on Becky, and Damian's reactions are absolute character development to me. It opens many possibilities in future episodes.
The heat of the competition intensified. However, to me, what makes this ep exciting isn't about the game's results but more on Yor-Fiona unexpected contact. Everyone knows Yor is super strong, but who knows that she's actually "that" strong LOL!!! A must-watch episode!
To me, this ep is more than just about another case of WISE's agents. Fiona's instability and the way Loid respects and protects her as a valuable asset add richer dynamics between fellow agents. The growing jealousy of both Yor and Fiona also makes it more interesting.
Wow, didn't expect that there would be an episode with jealousy as the main theme. Not just Fiona, even Bond can share the same feeling with agent penguin as well LOL!! In both stories, I love how Anya reacts genuinely, just like a regular 4 or 5 yo. It's wholesome and funny.
I laughed when hearing Loid say, "You write things down at the strangest time," after he had some thoughts related to his spy life. 😭😭 Not to mention with how Anya mixed up his dad's realities as both doctor and spy, how can he not notice that she's "special" LOL!!!
Compared to other action-packed episodes, this is more like Anya's slice of life. However, it's still a pleasure to watch George's embarrassment and Yor's shenanigans, which both resulted in totally opposite directions. Peak comedy LOL
I know that being skeptical is second nature for a spy, but I can't help but laugh when I notice Loid (almost) always assumes the worst from Anya. 😭😭 On a serious note, I didn't expect that her psychic abilities would have abilities. Can't wait to see where this plot is going!
I feel like every scene in the Griffin's Operation case is plot twist 🤣🤣 From Becky's interest to Loid to Anya-Damian's piece of "garbage" art, they are all pure comedy LOL. Even Loid can be a comedian by bragging Anya's jumping on vaulting horse and skipping rope!! ☠️
Bond finally enters! The dialogue, especially the handover of Bond to the family was so funny, Anya did a great job negotiating. The excitement of getting a first pet is so relatable.
LOL how come a story as cute and heartwarming as Yor's struggles in the kitchen has an opening as dark as that?! 🤣 The crying and nostalgia truly show Yor-Yuri's different sides. Also, the chaos with Franky and his unbelievable love story is definitely entertaining 💗💗
This episode feels like the author intentionally created some space to build the Anya-Bond dynamics. It's funny to see how she tries to leverage this as something to get close to Damian, only to get side eyes from Damian's gang 🤣. Can't wait to see where the story is going!
While the plot, visuals, and comedy are undoubtedly impeccable, the way this episode portrays the reality of war from the lens of the victims deserves attention. Especially when Sylvia reacts to the captured terrorists' intention, I can sense the humanity that adds more depth.
This episode has everything you can possibly enjoy from Spy x Family: Anya's shenanigans, Loid's actions, and Yor's acrobatics when dealing with Anya. On the other hand, I can't help but think of a conspiracy that Project Apple has something to do with Anya's experiments...😱😱😱
Anya helps Loid in his mission to approach Donovan Desmond. After all the wait Loid finally got to meet Donovan Desmond, intense atmosphere during their interaction is quite scary. But the way their conversation ends feels quite underwhelming 🫠,char development is seen in Damian
It starts with a misunderstanding Yor had for Loid which delivers quite funny and heartfelt moments and also strengthening their bond as Husband and Wife. Anya's first shopping with a friend and the bond Anya and Becky has developed is adorable 🩷💕
This is the continuation of the previous episode of Underground Tennis Tournament they got what they want but the outcome is quite unexpected and funny as well, We also get to see some funny interaction between Yor and Fiona and the insecurities Yor had started to dissipate ✨
Loid and Fiona had some intense matches at the Underground Tennis Tournament showcasing their SPY skills and adaptability, the opponent are quite unique duos though 😂. It shows the reality of Underground Sports and how they play dirty tricks and operates business.
