This episode is emotional; it gives us some context about Qin Shiyao's past and explains the reason for his devotion to Duanmu. These flashbacks also solidify Duanmu's role in his family. Qin Shiyao's interactions are very sweet; they have great chemistry together.

I love how this episode properly portrayed the relationship between Tanmoku Ki and Shin Shiyou, and how You Keika must face what comes next for all of them. Some more exciting things are abou to happen so I'm pretty excited to keep it going.

CN Version: I like the added depth to Shin Shiyou (Qin Siyao)’s character in this episode. The willingness of writers to show the depth of a girl’s heart is always commendable, imo~ Her relationship with Tanmoku (Duanmu) is so interesting, and Jinghua (Keika)’s consideration for her is also great.JP Version: AYOOO OMG, FELLAS… 👨🏻‍🤝‍👨🏻??? The scenes are once again sus AF, lmfao. It might be overdone, but boy oh boy am I a sucker of characters being literal soulmates 🥺 I love how this ep explores that concept with drama and tension.
