Spiritpact Episode 20: Episode 20

This episode is satisfying, and while there are funny scenes interspersed, they don't detract from the overall tone. What does detract from it, however, are the over-the-top effects for some things. What on earth is that mountain-destroying laser straight out of Dragon Ball Z? Then the resolution is pretty ridiculous too. "We almost killed you and caused a coup in your family, but now that we see you can annihilate us with one blow, we realize we were wrong, sorry :("

All's well that ends well! I love how many of the plot is tied up nicely in this finale, and there's even some hints of additional content in a followup season. Overall, I enjoyed my time with this anime! I feel like it had a really good story, but just had some slight issues when it came to delivering it in decent animation quality.

Everything is coming together! The action and tension are pretty fun!! This is a good and satisfying finale that leaves enough intrigue. Makes you want to see the 2nd season~ You Keika and Tanmoku Ki’s (Yang Jinghua and Duanmu Xi)’s bond is the best, and I hope to see their pact strengthen even more 😌🙏
