We finally understand the importance of Yang Jinghua's spirit and why Duanmu Xi was so concerned for his well-being from the very beginning. A gamble to defy fate seems lost. An epic and intense episode in equal measure.

So much has ridden on the resolve of You Keika, Tanmoku Ki, and Shin Shiyou! They've done really good on sticking up for themselves. I love how this episode gives each of them a scene that highlights all they've learned throughout the series so far. It's been an amazing journey so far!

Following the twist from the last ep, we get the full picture of what’s happening. 😌 I like Shin Shiyou (Qin Siyao)’s aura in this episode too, just love how her belief in our boys is so strong 🥰 And speaking of our boys, their interactions here are sooo good 😏 Our highkey role reversal vibesss are here~!!
