Season 2 baby! And according to the opening, it promises to have a homewrecker, angst, and more BL than before! Hooray! However, I should warn you that although the entire series is available on YouTube for free, don't watch it there because, due to copyright issues, there's no opening or ending, and there are moments where they remove the music, making the voices sound strange and creating awkwardly quiet scenes. This episode recaps some of what happened, but this series has so much going on that it's not enough; it's better to watch the entire first season. The leap in quality for this season is very noticeable. It still has some flaws and facial distortions, but it compensates with very beautiful scenes and eye-catching effects. I'll be using the Japanese names this time. In this first episode, we start off lightheartedly, but then we move on to something much heavier. Tanmoku Ki continues to hide things from You Keika, which is what caused most of the problems last season. Tanmoku Ki may seem hard and cold with a small spirit, and You Keika does his best to grant the child's wish. The relationship between Tanmoku Ki and You Keika, which seemed resolved last season, still has a long way to go, and in this episode we see a tremendous gesture of trust from Tanmoku Ki, but what is it he doesn't want anyone to know?
I'm honestly amazed by how much the quality of the animation improved. This episode started good and interested immediately. The opening song is really catchy too. Asides from that, the episodes was rather emotional and what I don't like are the hints of Bl XD.
Oh, I like the visuals of the OP! The art quality has definitely improved from the last season 🥹I also enjoy that this ep opens with In Tetsu and You Keika having to deal with each other LOL, it’s a smooth lead-in to the real core plot centering on a mysterious youkai. Tanmoku Ki and You Keika’s interactions are so nice here~ 🏳️🌈
