WOAH! so that cd scene was foreshadowing after all!!!!! kumiko's inner monologue and her passion for music extending towards every character makes my heart swell so bad, i got teary eyed at the end when asuka played by the river. god this series IS GOOD
This ep is a total emotional rollercoaster and Asuka’s backstory is finally hitting hard. We get the character depth needed to see through her "perfect" mask, and that interaction with her mom was intense.
