it’s always such an emotional rollercoaster with this show. one minute im tearing up over her sister leaving and the next im nearly choking on my dinner watching how brave Kumiko is being! T__T

This ep is a total emotional peak and the Asuka lore is finally hitting different. We finally get the backstory and character depth needed to understand why she’s so guarded, and that duet scene with Kumiko is pure magic.
