there is so much happening at once but the fast pacing is honestly perfect for me. it keeps the momentum going without dragging anything out, and maka getting so blatantly jealous over dr medusa was just hilarious lol

the narrative density in this installment is extremely high, rapidly advancing multiple subplots simultaneously. while it borders on feeling overstuffed, stein directly confronting medusa provides an excellent anchor for the mounting tension.
