Sorotani no Keibatchi Season 3
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Back on the track and facing his biggest challenge yet, Hiroshi Tanaka discovers the racing circuit has thrown him a curveball — a brand new competition format that basically invalidates everything he's trained for. Sorotani no Keibatchi Season 3 picks up with Hiroshi and his chaotic pit crew scrambling to adapt, which goes about as smoothly as you'd expect from a team whose mechanic once accidentally set the garage on fire. The comedy here lands because it grows naturally out of the racing tension rather than interrupting it. One moment you're genuinely stressed about a tight corner, the next Hiroshi's rival is trash-talking him with the most absurd metaphors. The show also leans harder into its 'Speed Spirits' system this season — racers can channel these temporary energy boosts during competitions, and the animation by DLE actually does a solid job making those moments feel kinetic and earned rather than gimmicky. It's only four episodes, so the pacing stays tight with zero filler. If you liked the adrenaline of Initial D or the underdog grind of Capeta but wanted something that doesn't take itself quite so seriously, this fits that niche pretty well. Fans of Yowamushi Pedal's blend of sports drama and goofy team dynamics will also feel right at home. The soundtrack slaps during races too — lots of high-energy tracks that match the comedic, hype tone without overdoing it. Quick watch, good time.
