The plot is definitely keeping things intriguing! Yumemi’s reactions to everything feel super grounded and realistic, making her very easy to root for. On the other hand, Kazuya’s behavior feels a bit questionable and far from normal, which adds an amusingly bizarre layer to the dynamics! Still, the core story is definitely worth investing in, packed with plenty of fun and quirky moments—excited to see how everything unfolds moving forward!

Yumemi is doing the classic refusal-of-the-call trope, which is understandable because she's just a kid that's having a hard time believing what she's seeing is real. Suzume and Kazuya's relationship is a little odd but there's also something kinda cute about it too.
