The story progression has been so smooth, and I like where this is going. Though this episode really had me asking, "WHY?!" 🫠 This anime gave me heartbreak, and it's only the third episode.

You really have to turn off your brain and not think about the characters' ages to enjoy this anime. Also, you have to keep in mind that it's set in ancient times, lol. Anyway, this is getting reaaaally good, though I do have a li'l bit of a problem with the animation.

I really liked the progression in this one, and it's just getting more exciting as the story develops. Can't wait to see Yuri fight back and get her revenge!

That scene with Zuwa wearing Tito's bracelet while mocking Yuri was pure evil and it was good to see her decide to stay and fight instead of going back through the spring water portal

I was sobbing when Kail pulled back that cloth and we saw what happened to Tito because it was way more brutal than I expected for this kind of show

Kail declaring Yuri as the avatar of Ishtar in front of the entire army gave me chills and it is such a huge shift from how she was acting earlier

The tension when Yuri finally stood up to Queen Nakia in her own palace was intense, and seeing the Queen look so rattled when the girl refused to back down was such a satisfying moment

Hi

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off Episode 2, where Yuri begins to find her footing — however unsteadily — within the political landscape of the Hittite Empire, Episode 3 deepens her entanglement in conflicts that are both personal and geopolitical. This episode functions as a crucial character-building installment, establishing relationships and tensions that will carry significant weight in the episodes ahead. It is a setup episode in the best sense — quietly laying the groundwork for the escalating stakes to come.
