A beautiful conclusion, demonstrating just how deeply the Golem cares for Somali with him pushing himself to his limits in the golem form, and expressing to Somali how he truly feels. While not a prefect ending it finishes this chapter of their adventure aptly.
This finale is a mixed bag. The berserker scene is TERRIFYING and beautiful. The chase scene is heartbreaking. The voice acting is incredible. But the ending feels safe. The show didn't give us a perfect ending. It gave us a hopeful one. Golem and Somali are still searching. They're still in danger. But they're together. And that's what matters.
