The episode's best moment is when Golem watches other parents holding their children's hands. He sees the affection, the care, the bond. Then he looks down at Somali, who is watching too, clearly longing for that connection. And then he reaches out and holds her hand. It's a tiny gesture, but it's huge. Golem is learning to feel. He's learning to be a dad.The animation is gorgeous, the world is creative, and the relationship between Golem and Somali is already heartwarming and heartbreaking in equal measure.
