Reunión de rangos S! Emocionada por ver los poderes de cada uno y como se van a llevar entre ellos y se harán alianzas o enemistades.

An emotional episode to say the least that had me emptying my tissue box. Baek had me remembering the hurt as he shows scars from the previous raid. Jeju island hangs over and the training teaser had my excitement growing. Yet, the thing that wrecked me most was Jinwoo and Jinah!

Finally! I am really happy for Jinwoo right now. All those tears, blood, and sweat, did not go in vain. I really love how the story progresses and also all the new characters’ design.

I can't help but feels emotional watching this episode. It's good to see that things are going well however, the hunters need to face a lot and big problem. The animation is good and the pacing is just right

Jinwoo finally reaches his goal, and seeing his mom wake up hits hard after everything he went through. It’s a rare calm moment, but it feels earned. At the same time, new threats are building, reminding you the real fight isn’t over yet.

This episode felt really rewarding. After everything Jinwoo’s been through, it finally gives that moment where all the struggle feels worth it. Pacing was solid, emotional payoff hit, and seeing all the S-Ranks in one room? Legit.

It felt a bit slow compared to the previous weeks and skipping the A rank hunters match from the manhwa was a weird choice even if the hospital scene was big

Naming that dragon Kaisel so casually after that fight was a classic Jinwoo move and his collection of shadows is getting scary

The moment Jinwoo's mom opened her eyes in that hospital room, all the grueling fights and near-death experiences in the demon castle suddenly clicked into place for me. I was so relieved for him; it truly highlighted the personal stakes behind his relentless pursuit of power, and frankly, I'm glad he showed that raw emotion instead of being all stoic.

The pacing feels a bit fast compared to the manhwa but seeing the S rank hunters from Japan and Korea finally face off in the training dome makes up for it

The emotional weight of the reunion really anchored this episode and gave Jinwoo a reason to keep pushing forward now that his mother is safe. It felt grounded even with all the magic. Then the shift to the training dome and seeing Goto act so arrogant set a great tone for the upcoming raid. The way Cha Hae-in noticed his change was subtle but effective.

I was enjoying the episode but the voice for Kargalgan in the dub really threw me off and sounded way too goofy for a boss like that

Watching those Japanese hunters act like they own the place makes you want to see Jinwoo humble them immediately

It is weird seeing the living room so messy after all those intense dungeon fights but the sibling bickering with Jinah was a nice break from the action

Goto looks like he is going to be a total menace and that silent stare down with Jinwoo on the balcony was pure tension even before the fight started

My heart actually ached when Jinwoo was shaking while giving his mom that potion, and seeing her smile at him at the end was the highlight of the season so far.

I finally got to see Jinwoo hug his mom and it hit me way harder than any of the dungeon fights did

One minute I'm watching a quiet hospital room, and the next, bam! We're thrown right into an S-rank free-for-all, making me realize just how quickly things are about to escalate. I mean, the way they set up that chaotic fight truly cemented my excitement for the Jeju Island raid; I can practically feel the tension building for what Jinwoo will do next.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the two-thirds mark of a 13-episode season, Episode 9 arrives after a stretch of intense combat escalation and serves as a critical emotional pivot point. The preceding episodes built Jin-Woo's power and battlefield dominance, while this installment grounds those achievements in personal stakes before the season's final act. It effectively bridges the mid-season action gauntlet with the larger challenges ahead, setting the stage for the hunter community's collective trials that will likely dominate the remaining four episodes.
