Usually the best episode of an anime is mostly in its climax episode, but the build up along with the preparation that a lot of the different guilds and party member, all the way up to higher ups and officials give a sense of urgency or stakes to the upcoming episodes later, which I think is super important when it comes to establishing the climax for a season. A good payoff to me in my opinion, comes from constant properly paced buildups before it. Also it gives me the feeling of the Chimera Ant Arc from HxH.

The Jeju Island raid is here, and the sheer scale of the ant threat makes the atmosphere pulse with pure dread. Watching the elite forces realize they are walking straight into a meat grinder was terrifying.

Capitulo con un toque emotivo al inicio y después pura acción y unión de cazadores para un objetivo en común, en la que mostraron un poco sus habilidades previas a la aventura.

Seeing the S-rank Hunters from Korea and Japan clash to prep for Jeju was intense! The standout moment was definitely when the Master of the Draw Sword Guild stopped observing and decided he had to personally test Jinwoo’s strength himself. Pure hype.

Expect a smooth "boring" walking pace, before sprinting, yanking your wrist. The S-Rank friendly spar was a good appetizer, the fight & visuals were gearing me up but cooled off too soon. The cliffhanger is epic, so after you watch come tell me if your eyes snap open too!

Don’t miss any episode! The hype and tension just continue to build up. From the duel to the Jeju Island raid, there seems to be no stopping now! And that scene at the end? Oh nooo! Things just started to get real!

BYUNG GUUUUU!!! I can't help but feel emotional seeing byung-gu. Aside from that, the scene between goto and jinwoo is also satisfying and the operation in jeju started already. Overall, this episode is so thrilling and enjoyable. A must watch!

Jinwoo steps back, choosing family over the raid, but everything falls apart without him. The Jeju mission starts strong, then turns into pure chaos with the Ant King’s terrifying entrance. You can feel it, this is where things get serious.

Plays the song i need heerrrooo lmao, pacing shifts to large scale war mode. Animation goes all out with ant swarms and hunter teamwork. The cast shows desperation and hope. Tone turns epic and desperate.

Showing S-Rank strength levels right off the bat. And that duel? Geez, I kinda wanted more of it. The episode felt nicely paced, mostly focusing on the preparations for the Jeju Island Raid. That cliffhanger though, definitely serious, I really felt the tension building up.

My stomach dropped when that giant egg cracked open at the end; I'm pretty sure whatever's inside is going to make this already doomed raid an absolute bloodbath. I just can't shake the feeling that none of those poor hunters are making it out of there alive.

Choi Jong-In finally showed what a top mage can do by burning those flying ants out of the sky and the animation for his fire spears was incredible

Manhwa readers are going to be annoyed that Goto didn't look terrified enough during the spar and it felt like they toned down his fear for the anime

I couldn't get over Jinwoo just standing there while the Japanese hunters were panicking and it made Goto look so small compared to his aura

I actually liked that Jinwoo chose his mother over the raid for now, and the quiet dinner scene was a nice break before the ant mess starts

It was so tense when the other hunters had to jump in and stop Jinwoo and Goto because the whole room was basically vibrating from their mana

Baek's partial transformation when facing that masked hunter actually gave me chills; my god, the way his eyes went all feral, it really makes me wonder how much of him is still human when he taps into that monstrous power.

Putting shadow soldiers on the other hunters was a genius way for Jinwoo to monitor the raid from home, and it shows he still doesn't trust the Japanese team at all

The ships in the naval task force looked a bit rough compared to the character animation but the actual fight in the ant tunnels was handled with a lot of detail and speed

Those fire spears coming out of the helicopter looked massive and it was cool to see Choi Jong-In finally doing something other than wearing a suit in an office

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 10 of 13, this installment marks the final buildup phase before the season's climactic Jeju Island raid arc. Following episode 9's focus on Jin-Woo's personal power milestone, episode 10 deliberately broadens scope to the collective hunter effort, establishing the key players and rivalries that will collide in the remaining three episodes. It's a critical bridge episode—one that converts individual momentum into team-scale stakes.
