We are getting a lot more information on the previous life but at the cost of plot progression. Also, Shinobu not being mentioned til now feels like it either is important or irrelevant. I'm tired, man.

While the action and tension are pretty great, the animation is, to be honest, a little bit disappointing. There are some standout moments, but they’re not enough. On top of that, the pacing is really dragging. There are too many info dumps, and the engagement feels stiff.
