Meski beberapa alur cerita berhasil diselesaikan, episod terakhirnya masih belum benar-benar memberikan konklusi sehingga terasa membuka jalan untuk kelanjutan. Secara keseluruhan, animenya bagus dengan premis yang menarik. Aku tidak masalah dengan protagonis yang pemalu, meski di beberapa momen sifatnya terasa sedikit mengganggu. Satu hal yang cukup disayangkan adalah desain Snowman yang menurutku kurang keren. Penggunaan CGI juga sangat dominan; mungkin ada yang merasa tampilannya agak aneh, tapi menurutku justru memberikan pesona dan identitas tersendiri pada anime ini.

Episode 13 closes out the first season as the direct culmination of every narrative thread built since Tetsuo's return to a glaciated Earth — his search for surviving humanity and the vow made to Yukio have been building toward this endpoint. With no subsequent episode to set up, the focus here is entirely on resolution rather than setup. How thoroughly it closes the loop on Tetsuo's arc will define whether this season stands alone or demands continuation.
