Episode Context

Sitting at episode 92 of 101, this filler arrives during the calm before the storm as Shohoku prepares for the National Championship Games. It follows episode 91's academic hurdles faced by key players and precedes episode 93's shift toward Sakuragi's personal training regimen, making it a narrative interlude that lets the supporting cast breathe before the series charges into its final stretch.
