Episode Context

Coming off Episode 90's spotlight on the Sakuragi-Rukawa rivalry, Episode 91 strategically downshifts the intensity to address an off-court obstacle standing between Shohoku and the Nationals, building anticipation for the tournament arc in the series' final stretch. This episode directly sets up Episode 92, where Sakuragi's loyal gang pitches in with part-time jobs to support the team, deepening the show's exploration of friendship and sacrifice as the endgame approaches.
