Cerita mengenai persiapan menuju Inter-high ini cukup bagus. Tetap diselingi adegan komedi khas Sakuragi. Tapi mungkin karena tidak ada adegan pertandingan, intensitasnya jadi menurun. Dan kali ini fokus cerita sedang beralih ke Rukawa.

Episode Context

Coming directly off the decisive Ryonan match in Episode 84, this filler episode serves as a decompression point before the push toward the National Championship arc that will carry the series through its final stretch of 101 episodes. It bridges the high-stakes inter-high qualifiers and the looming national competition by grounding the story in character dynamics, particularly the Sakuragi-Rukawa rivalry. While skippable for viewers chasing pure basketball action, it establishes the emotional and interpersonal stakes that will matter once the team faces national-level opponents.
