EPISODE REVIEWS

Ariane refusing Arc's healing magic on her hip then Tsubaki immediately putting Arc in a bone lock that made him scream across the plains was the best comedy beat this season. The tonal whiplash between that and the Sasuke reveal is wild though. This show really swings both ways.

Episode Context

Following the group’s voyage toward the southern continent and the revisiting of Chiyome’s history with Sasuke in Episode 8, this entry brings them into Tiger Clan territory. It turns that personal backstory into an immediate threat while setting up the party’s next confrontation with the forces tied to Hilk. The episode bridges the journey phase with the escalating political and personal conflicts of the season finale.
