Episode Context

Following Episode 11, Blood Battle! Death in a Collapsing City, the story remains in the immediate aftermath of the city's escalating disaster and its personal toll on Chiyome and Sasuke. This finale carries that crisis into the season's climactic confrontation with Charos and the Hilk Church's atrocities, pulling the wider ensemble together for the payoff. It closes the season on compassion, responsibility, and refusing to judge people by appearances rather than opening a new travel-focused thread.
