why am i literally crying at every episode??? have i said how poetically beautiful the script this series has? god, it's like watching a novel unfold

Really love Sakura as a character. Fueled by spite literally :') Hoping to see some more development for her character soon

Not much plot progression but omg the backstory is another tearjerker. I wasn't sure if it was needed at first. But as the episode went on, yep that character deep dive was indeed necessary

The voice acting really enhances the narrative here. Sakura's backstory went harder than I imagined. Really feel for her past experiences as it unexpectedly hits home

Even though this episode serves to explore more of Hinagiku's past, I am more filled with questions than answers. Some parts honestly didn't make sense to me. Still, the animation is good so that's a 9/10

My heart broke when the Hinagiku in the white kimono just dissolved into petals because it meant that innocent version of her is actually gone forever and she really is broken now

Watching Sakura dive straight into those black thorns to get to Hinagiku was intense and it showed how little she cares about her own safety as long as she has her master

I felt so sick seeing Sakura leave those bloody handprints on the gate when the agency stopped searching for Hinagiku and she just would not give up on her friend

You might get tired of all the constant weeping after a while and Hinagiku saying she was already dead and gone really hammered home how much she suffered in those ten years

Seeing Hinagiku say she is just a replacement for her past self who died in that dark room is so messed up and the way she wants to die just for spring is crushing

I still cant get over Sakura leaving those bloody handprints on the gate when they stopped the search and her screaming at the elders later really hurt my heart because she never gave up on her master

I know people say this show is too dramatic, but Hinagiku crying in Sakura's arms among those black thorns really got to me. It felt like she finally let go of that empty version of herself and decided to stay alive for Sakura instead of just waiting to wither away and be replaced by the village.
