I was in tears the whole time. Hinagiku's past and her relationship with her mother are so painful to watch, and how the whole Town of Spring treated Hinagiku makes me so sad. And then there's Sakura's past: how she was alone until she met Kayo, and how both found somebody to lean on.
Just a beautiful, emotional, and well-paced episode.

this anime is breaking me RELENTLESSLY bro???? im burning that stupid ungrateful village DOWN. Hinakigu and Sakura, get behind me

Just when I thought Hinagiku's backstory couldn't get any sadder, it did. I hope they get to explain why she speaks so slowly, since in the backstories, she speaks normally. 10/10

It's wholesome when watched how Hinagiku and Sakura develop their bond. From this episode we learn a few backstory of them..I'm disappointed with the dad, how could he like one of them curse his own child. Wishing Hinagiku and Sakura will find their happiness.

My blood boils especially toward the father urgh. But Hinagiku's character writing continues to impress me. She isn't just some damsel in distress. Glad she took her mom's words to heart, and she has Sakura to lean on too

The world-building around the Village of Spring is crazy. The hate I feel for the people involved there grows more and more with each passing episode 😭 Hinagiku (and Sakura) didn't deserve any of those treatments

The lore drops in this episode is a goldmine. I don't even care that the main story didn't move an inch. I loved diving deeper into how Sakura and Hinagiku met

The Agency really comes off as cold toward Hinagiku treating her like a tool and Touji's suspicions feel earned

I'm so invested in Hinagiku and Sakura's relationship now, watching them go from lonely kids to unbreakable partners made my heart ache in the best way. Their vow at the end, after everything, that really got to me.

The hide-and-seek game was just devastating knowing Koubai wouldn't come back and Hinagiku would wait forever

I just loved seeing Hinagiku and Sakura’s childhood bond unfold it was so sweet and heartbreaking all at once
