The background music truly makes this episode feel incredibly tense and heart-wrenching. Furthermore, can't feel any sympathy for the villain because she's so disgusting. But, this episode's ending is quite satisfying.

Episode Context

Two episodes from the finale, Episode 12 arrives after the revelations of Episode 11 have already shifted the ground beneath the central relationship. Rather than accelerating immediately, it takes deliberate stock of where Kayo and Himedaka stand, deepening the emotional stakes before the narrative commits to its endgame. What unfolds here feeds directly into Episode 13, where the season's momentum is expected to escalate sharply toward the climax.
