While the animation remains somewhat average during the non-action sequences, the narrative tension more than compensates for it, setting up a clear, high-stakes objective for the rest of the season. It is a solid, character-driven chapter that handles the team's internal friction quite well.
I felt like this episode really motivated me to be better! The backstory was nicely told, I felt like the plot make even more sense now that we knew why the character acted that way. Even the animation was nicely done to convey the emotions they were feeling. I'm emotionally invested, it was a nice watch!
There was a poignant moment in this episode that shows it can be serious at times. The touching scene expands upon the lore, and the backstory of Joh is scene in a different light. Great episode it's just I'm reminded of the ending each time it plays it is too silly for words, breaks the immersion.
