An intriguing start to a modern soccer sequel! Hideto is definitely a moody protagonist, but his cynical attitude creates a sharp contrast with the passionate Jou Kazama. The nostalgic nods to the old Kakegawa days are a great touch. Hoping for more action soon!
It was quite a good start, I actually have fun watching it. It's giving a teenage sport anime vibe along with the power of friendship, it's a nice combo. The plot was nice, we can see a lot of introductory characters so the pacing matched the plot. The turmoil in the end was interesting, it had me excited to watch the next episode!
Umm, it has an interesting premise that's for sure. The story isn't too run of the mill. They could do themselves a favor and tone down the bromance a bit. I mean, he legged locked him... we all get excited playing the game, but not that excited and we had girls on our the team! lol The end had me gobsmacked, bro was out here tweaking, what kind of reaction was that!?!
