This episode was a great change of pace, nice to see Tomoka use his skill as a gambler. I love the music going along with the classic animation.

Finally an episode where the characters are somehow given a rest from fighting. Tomoka also got the spotlight for this episode. It's nice to see him being shown more. The past episodes are more focused on the story so seeing this episode is all about him is quite refreshing and also we learn a bit of his personality.

With some down time our heroes resupply, procure funds to fix their ship, and rest up for the coming showdown. Tomoka Taiga shines in this. He can pull through when times are though. He's growing on me as a character, he is a capable guy a lot different from how he portrays himself.
