Shikimori's Green-Eyed Monster
The Teacher announces Izumi's absence from school. Inuzuka reveals that Izumi specifically asked him, not Shikimori, for class notes. Shikimori's eyes glow with a competitive blue light, a clear indication of her jealousy. Inuzuka expresses concern that Shikimori might truly dislike him, but Nekozaki reassures him, confirming Shikimori's deep respect for his care of Izumi. Undeterred, Shikimori decides she must accompany Inuzuka to deliver the notes, prompting Hachimitsu to embark on a surveillance mission.
The Onii-san Revelation
Shikimori and Inuzuka walk in a slightly awkward silence, with Shikimori suggesting a stop at a drugstore for Izumi's cold medicine. Inside, she agonizes over the perfect choice of throat lozenges. In a moment of over-analysis, Shikimori accidentally addresses Inuzuka as "Onii-san," a familiar term meaning big brother. She panics, rushing to check out, then offers Inuzuka grape candy as both an apology and a peace offering. He accepts, understanding her complex feelings.
Detective Hachimitsu Cracks the Case
Hachimitsu arrives dramatically on a motorized panda, dressed as a detective, announcing she has "solved the mystery" of Shikimori's competitive behavior. She elaborates on Shikimori's specific reactions to Inuzuka, demonstrating keen observation. Hachimitsu concludes that Inuzuka reminds Shikimori of her older brother, causing her to act "spoiled" and competitive around him. Shikimori is comically devastated by the accuracy of the deduction. Inuzuka playfully leans into the "big brother" role, but Shikimori's sudden menacing "cool" persona quickly silences him, leading to a frantic apology before they finally continue to Izumi's house.
A Quiet Moment for Izumi
Back home, Izumi lies in bed, recovering from his fever. He glances at the clock, eagerly anticipating the arrival of Inuzuka and Shikimori with his class materials. This brief, peaceful interlude underscores the quiet, supportive bond that underpins the friends' more boisterous interactions. It reminds us that at the heart of their antics lies genuine care for one another.
Kamiya Joins the Girls' Day
Nekozaki and Shikimori enjoy a day at the "LanLanLan" mall, with Izumi still recovering from his fever at home. Shikimori constantly checks her phone, delighted by Izumi's progress. In a bookstore, they unexpectedly encounter Kamiya, who is browsing alone. Nekozaki, with her characteristic outgoing nature, immediately invites Kamiya to join them. Kamiya, initially surprised and a bit hesitant, gracefully accepts the invitation, forming a striking trio.
Finding Quirks and Shared Laughter
The trio explores various shops within the mall. In a pet store, they admire puppies, then move on to stuffed animals. Kamiya surprises Nekozaki and delights Shikimori by finding an odd, tongue-lolling plushie endearing, revealing a hidden quirk. Later, they decide to take Purikura sticker photos, with Nekozaki enthusiastically directing their poses. The dramatically edited result, resembling a pop album cover, brings shared laughter, with Kamiya clearly enjoying the experience despite being slightly overwhelmed by the process.
Crane Game Kindness
In the arcade, Shikimori displays impressive skill at a crane game, winning multiple prizes with expert precision. She generously gifts all the plushies to Kamiya, who is deeply touched by the gesture and Shikimori's cool competence. Determined to reciprocate the kindness, Kamiya then tries her own hand at the game, succeeding and presenting a prize to Shikimori. Nekozaki observes from a distance, pleased to see Kamiya letting down her guard and engaging earnestly with her new friends.
The Basketball Showdown
The three girls discover an outdoor basketball court. Nekozaki's competitive sports side ignites at the sight. However, their fun is challenged by two other girls who claim to have reserved the court. A challenge is swiftly issued. Shikimori and Kamiya accept, their expressions serious and determined. They demonstrate incredible teamwork and athleticism, easily outplaying their challengers with fast dribbling, sharp passes, and accurate shots. Nekozaki cheers them on to a decisive victory, earning the grudging respect of the opposing team.
Sunset Reflections and Lasting Bonds
As the sun sets, the tired but happy trio walks home. Nekozaki eventually departs, leaving Shikimori and Kamiya to continue their walk together. Kamiya expresses how much she truly values their new friendship, wanting to spend time together again. Later, Nekozaki and Kamiya share a heart-to-heart conversation on a bridge. Kamiya admits her struggles with maintaining her "cool" persona, crediting Shikimori and the others for helping her change. They watch the sunset, acknowledging the strength of their budding connection. The episode concludes with the girls' silhouettes against the twilight sky, reflecting on the importance of genuine emotional connections and the growth that comes from vulnerability.
EPISODE REVIEWS

So far, this is the best episode for me! I love the interactions between Kamiya, Nekozaki, and Shikimori. I've been meaning to say this, but Nekozaki makes such a great bridge for connecting friends, and I love that for her. The out-of-the-blue basketball challenge was also fun! Hopefully, Kamiya will heal from her unrequited love through this budding friendship. ✨

nyeh. kemaren udah bagus bagus malah sekarang dikasih eps filler. apa dah

A friendship-focused episode and it worked really well. Kamiya is so damn cool, especially that deep voice of hers. There's way more to her than she initially lets on. Happy that Nekozaki got to see that side of her.
