I understand Shikimori's anxiety despite trusting him to do the right thing. Anyway, it was a nice ending to their cultural festival.

Best episode so far, genuinely beautiful and precious. Did not expect this kind of show to get so heavy, but it really got me. Izumi may be a little pathetic on the surface but the scene at the end showed how strong he actually is. He knows exactly what his flaws are and actively works to make up for them. And that rooftop scene was heartbreaking. Kamiya’s voice actress absolutely nailed the pain in that moment. This one hit close to home.
