EPISODE REVIEWS
Well, we have much more information now about this enigmatic character, Fumika. A major truth is revealed not only about her, but also about her father and the type of abuse he committed against his own daughter. We also finally learn what happened to Fumika's mother and how Fumika came to be a mail carrier for the afterlife. So I'd say this is a pretty important episode to watch, as it gives us a huge amount of information.
Episode 8 delivers a pivotal, chilling peak. Hauntingly intense animation and a harrowing, dark score underscore the raw gravity of the reveals. Brief, snarky banter cuts through the heavy atmosphere, balancing sharp character growth with a massive plot twist regarding Fumika's past.
The use of symbolism, contrasting color palettes, and the pacing of the flashbacks are beautifully crafted to evoke deep sympathy alongside a sense of emotional horror.
