This episode shifts focus toward the core mystery. Detailed animation and a poignant, eerie score accentuate the growing tension. Subtle banter between Kanaka and Chiaki adds brief comedic relief. Strong character development builds momentum, capped by an intriguing plot twist about Fumika's past.

Instead of providing clarity, the story throws too many new mysteries at the audience all at once without giving them a strong enough footing to digest it all.
