Why does this episode feel like punishment and flex at the same time? Sunraku is out here fighting bosses half-naked, poisoned, and still adapting mid-fight. I respect the grind, but man… this game does NOT play fair. That ending with Lycagon? Pure hype!

As a pro gamer reading moves of the boss is the first thing to do then kill it. Durability of your weapon is a must pay attention

I find Rei's character to be quite cute, with the contrast between her gentleness and the type of hardcore-ness she brings to the game. Meanwhile, Sunraku has already faced off an area boss with just about his luck stat and grit. It's a fast paced sequence that gives great insight to how Sunraku handles his games. I look forward to the rest of the episodes.

The first boss battle did not disappoint. The poison adds an urgency factor. The skill effects and adaptation of real gaming terms makes it much more immersive. The way they explain using dialogues are not boring because they keep the battle going even while this happens.

Feels like I am playing the game vibe in this anime with some information that it is only applied while you play some online game. battle sequence and amazing story flow is a package for this anime.

Sunraku has pro gamer vibes Watching him check stats, test the environment, and notice day vs night monster shifts is pure nerd bliss. Plus, the way he farms materials to upgrade gear? Basically my IRL MMORPG grind, but cooler.
