Shakugan no Shana: Season I Episode 16: Slaying Hand of Shakugan

This episode is not epileptic-friendly due to flashing lights during the climax, so epileptic viewers' discretion is advised. Though Shana's background was explained, I felt like it wasn't really explained well. They just showed what happened, but something deeper was going on.

The visuals in all battles in this episode were amazing and probably my favorite so far! (Merihim entrance was so badass!). It also reveals some backstory about Alastor’s previous contractor, as well as hints about the past events that shaped everything.
