It’s gruesome to witness a murder of an innocent cat, from the perspective of someone who love and owns cat. Why cat of all animals, why murder of all atrocities. Murders and crime is really common in this era, it’s sad but it’s true up to this day. I admire the transparency of Ichitaro and not pity but care for the character of Matsunosuke. I hope this pain will cease to exist.
I gotta say, I like how the series constantly try to give us povs from different characters, not just our main characters. And to be quite honest, the plot for this episode caught me a bit off guard, but it was pretty good! And I really like the pretty animation they had at the end there✨
Oh, this episode has taken a dark turn yet a great 'show not tell' narrative when it comes to Matsunoke's climatic arc of his character. I was so disappointed with one of the plot twist though. Just when I think there was such a smart, capable person I could root for. The show let me down on that.
