It’s amazing how someone is willing to be your companion for quite some time. Love really is powerful. Amazing how Nikichi was able to endure all this time. The plot is beautiful and manner of storytelling is great as well. This is really good ep, it made you realize true love never dies.

Finally, an actual good story that's not mediocre with actual involvement with the ayakashi and how it reflects to the present dynamic. The bittersweet love story was heartwarming, especially when accompanied by the unrequited retainer. There were also good hints of the man's true character that was enough to doubt but not enough to nail.
