It’s a really perfect ep to end the series. It’s really a happy ending. I love how the youkai re easy to satisfy, if they still do that in today age, they can get anything since every single thing today is sweet lol. Ngl I loveee this ep the entire series, the young master is really compassionate and generous, his face is the epitome of kindness, purity of the heart. The animation and songs are the best, the plot is awesome and how everything single scene and story was laid out is perfect. I hope to see more rooting for the young masters good health, voting for season 2 your honor ( / / / @ _ @ / / / ).

Really nice ending episode! Everything wrapped up pretty nicely and also turned out pretty well! Overall, I’d give it a 7 stars⭐️ it wasn’t life changing or anything, but this was my first time watching an anime set in historical Japan, so that was quite interesting. Plus the supernatural mixed with the mystery aspect was also really intriguing. The way they depicted the spirits to be more iconic rather than scary was also a nice touch imo✨

The story would have been great if not for the horribly slow pacing at the beginning of the story. Matsunosuke's conclusion and arc would have been more satisfying if there was more than one and half episode dedicated to him than simply name dropping him. His story was well executed if not for that. We never got even see Ichitaro sneaking to catch a glimpse of his brother. Not to mention, the split focus of various conflict sort of messes the pacing problem.
